How to set up IPTV on a PC
Five minutes, and no unknown-sources settings to enable. We recommend starting with VLC to confirm your details work, then moving to a fuller player if you want a programme guide.

Copy your login details
Open the WhatsApp message we sent. You will have either one M3U playlist link, or a server URL, username and password. Copy them exactly — including http:// or https:// and any port number. One missing character stops the account loading.

Install a player
Install IPTV Smarters Expert from the Microsoft Store for a TV-style layout, or VLC for the simplest possible test. Both are free to download.

Load your playlist
In VLC, go to Media → Open Network Stream and paste your M3U link. In IPTV Smarters Expert, choose the Xtream Codes login and enter your server URL, username and password in the matching fields.

Let the channel list import
Leave the player open while categories and programme data load. A large channel list can take a minute or two the first time. Closing the app during the first import can leave categories missing.

Test live and on demand
Play one live channel, then a film or an episode. If both work you are done. If only one does, tell us which — that difference tells us where to look.

Fixing IPTV playback problems on a PC
Computers have more moving parts than a streaming stick, so problems usually trace back to one of these rather than the stream itself.
Stuttering with high CPU use
Open Task Manager while a channel plays. If CPU sits near 100%, hardware decoding is off. In VLC, enable Tools → Preferences → Input/Codecs → Hardware-accelerated decoding, then restart the player.
Video plays but there is no sound
Windows often sends audio to the wrong output after an HDMI cable is plugged in. Check the volume mixer and the player's own audio track selector, since some channels carry more than one audio track.
The playlist will not load at all
Paste the link into a browser address bar. If it downloads a file, your details are fine and the player is the problem. If it errors, re-check the URL for a missing character or an expired subscription.
Everything buffers on Wi-Fi
Laptops often sit on a congested 2.4 GHz band. Switch to the 5 GHz network, or plug in an Ethernet cable. This fixes far more buffering complaints than any player setting.
A VPN or work laptop blocks it
Corporate laptops, school networks, and some VPNs block the ports streaming uses. Try the same details on a personal device on home broadband before assuming the service is at fault.
The picture is fine but the guide is empty
Programme data loads separately from the channels and can take longer. Give it a few minutes, then refresh the EPG from the player settings. Message us if it stays blank.
